We’ve had so many questions on which we prefer so we wanted to sit down and discuss what we love about each place! Hope you enjoy the vid🇦🇺🇦🇪
Love You 🇦🇪❤🇦🇺
The world needs more people like you two
I think Miami is on the cards guys ☀👍
Sir and mam Dubai is best
I found your channel through Cam Mitchell 🙌🏼 Also in regard to meeting people on the Gold Coast, it is challenging… There is a Gym called CHANGE (it was founded by Kane and Pia Muehlenbeck) and a lot of entrepreneurial people go there. They have a lot of events and yoga classes where people can connect and network.
That’s a great problem to have. Dubai or Australia?! Mines do I prefer Wolverhampton or Dudley? Neither, kill me now, but wow I’d totally wanna stay in Dubai after watching your videos. It looks like so much more to do there. Love your videos guys.
Hi, I’ve lived in Dubai and Gold Coast but I’m considering moving to Wolverhampton. One of my mates from the UK said it’s a great place. Is this true or was he joking?
Please do a video on how you started the businesses, how you manage them day to day etc. Would love to see that side too
Yeah I would like to know this to, as living every day as they do there must be a lot of money being made from other ventures.
100% agree with you about the prices of cars. I even sent my car over from the UK when I emigrated over here and made a massive profit on it. Australia certainly isn’t cheap to live here anymore. I’ve noticed a massive difference in the 15 years I’ve been here.
Every place has its pros and cons and the decision really comes down to personal preference and life style choices.
I’ve been hoping to hear your views about life in Dubai vs Australia, this was a very informative video, thanks for the this. I’ve lived in Dubai for the best 9 years of my life, and moved this year to Canada because my husband and kids are Canadian. I tell you, it’s been very difficult adjusting to life here. The weather hasn’t helped. We have great summers here but that’s it 😂 We’re looking to move back to Dubai hopefully soon.
Only real advantage is that we get to travel to the U.S since it’s so close. I’m guessing you’ll be visiting the west coast, California, Florida. Best of luck and I look forward to watching more of your adventures
But the USA is really unsafe, crime and violence. Should I move to Australia or Dubai to start my own business as well as study, or any European countries would you recommend?
Cape Town in South Africa will be your vibe! It’s cheap and the nature is so beautiful. So many thing to do and see. I’m from South Africa
My Guesses for your USA Stay :
Miami, Florida is much like Goldcoast.
I loved that absolutely honest and point by point comparison of : Dubai and Goldcoast.
Dubai is Loud. As in Extravagant in every sense of the Word.
Goldcoast is well, as you said, Natural and Easygoing.
Like you two, we made our first Goldcoast visit In August 2017, liked climate and pollution free ecology and immediately ventured to Book an Off-The-Plan Apartment at Broadbeach.
In August 2022, we are coming to Goldcoast to take possession of that Apartment that would be like our Investment In Australia but also be a Holiday home and may be future Overseas place to move to. 😀
Love watching you guys! We from South Africa, moved to Australia 15 years ago, on the Gold Coast for 6 years, lived in Dubai for a year too and traveled there 10 times over the last 20 years, currently in the stages of setting up an Office in Dubai as my main hub and deciding whether to move the family to Dubai for 5-10 years….so found you guys in December last year and have thoroughly enjoyed watching your experiences, outings and evaluations! Look forward to meeting up with you two, I literally cycle past your building every week on the way to Marina Mirage!
I think you will head to Florida in the US but what you are doing in travelling and spending a decent amount of time in these places is such a valuable experience. Something I would love to do myself.
Hope you get a chance to visit New Zealand while you’re in this part of the world. I’m looking to move to Dubai. Time zone is definitely a big consideration. I did like living in London when I was pre-kids as well. I do love the Gold Coast. For the US, Florida / Miami IMHO, very much like the Gold Coast. I like so many parts of the US though, it’s hard to choose, every state is so different and unique. Have fun, love watching your videos.
I was born and grew up in Sydney, Australia. In my professional career I traveled widely and lived for extended periods in several countries. My business developed rapidly in the UK and I found that I had the opposite problem of time zones to you as I moved to the UK and had business and family/friends in Sydney. Every country I lived in had its advantages and disadvantages. Overall, I found in most countries that there was usually a way to make friends and do business and with the right attitude life could be good. Coming from Australia though you miss many intangibles when you are away. The clear skies, no crowding, a sense of fairness and ease of living. I think that its great that you are traveling with an open mind and enthusiasm. I enjoy your videos.
I live in Melbourne Australia. Don’t leave without experiencing other cities. Gold cost is a good place for holidays but Melbourne and Sydney are so vibrant and fun. Sydney has better weather than Melbourne but Melbourne gastronomy is the best!
You guys seemed so much happier in Dubai. Your channel was more interesting, not because Dubai is better, but because for anyone vlogging and dealing with properties and content creation there isn’t a better a place IMO. Australia is a beautiful country, but I definitely think Dubai suits you better. Los Angeles next?
LA sucks…
@@australianpatriot properties don’t
@@_TheVAX_ if ur insanely rich its cool
I’m born and raised in the UAE mostly in Abu Dhabi, and moved to Brisbane a year and a half ago, I really miss the lifestyle in the UAE defo the best place to live imo. Especially business wise etc the UAE the the whole gcc region has so much growth. I expect Saudi Arabia’s economy to double in the next 10 years or so from 2019 levels.
you picked the wrong city. There’s nothing in Brisbane
I agree ConAara same for me. I am now in sydney and the only people thinking its a big city are the one who never travel outside of australia. Europe, middleeast are 2 regions i know well and its so much better. So much more things to do than in australia…
And just how the roads are in australia 😂 so so destroyed
@@ZALESZS Australia has roads over 50 years old and in better shape than most countries. …and?
I have been living in Melbourne Australia for last 12 years i have travelled 60 countries so far, Australia is probably the best country so far i cannot live anywhere else.
You can t keep your communist locked down horrible place. China is going to take that place over.
Australia is good for some people racist country and Dubai is good for all kind of people in the world no racism..
@@aimlifeinshort8063 Yup!
😂😂😂
So multi-cultural here 😂 racism is in every country. Look at America. Everyone seems to forget that less than 50 years ago blacks and whites were still separated let alone recent events with BLM.
Asia is the most racist continent and I’m Asian 😂
You must be old. Wake up, it’s 2022.
@@aimlifeinshort8063 lol maybe you need to go to the Dubai airport how they treat Asians/Indian on arrival don’t get me started on how racist Asians and Arabs are
I’m Canadian. Lived in Dubai and Australia. I lived in Sydney, Goldcoast and Melbourne. Dubai is more international and all business. Australians are more clique-ish and insular typically. Both places are expensive in terms of cost of living, real estate is much cheaper in Dubai. Australia is much slower paced. Even Sydney and Melbourne is slower than what I’m used to in Toronto. The weather and nature is best in Australia hands down. But winters are super boring there. I loved Australia, mainly because of the weather. But it’s just too far to travel to frequently. Personally, for quick getaways now, I travel to Miami, Vegas and Tulum, Mexico for nice weather when I need to escape the harsh winters. But still love going to Australia every 4,5 years.
Well… Dubai is good if you are consultant – you need to be okay living indoors most of your time. There are plenty of activities but they mostly need to be done at night. Most people I know also tend to go to the same 5-10 spots. Another aspect worth mentioning is that it feels temporary. Yes, you could make friends easily, but you lose them easily also because they tend to be there on a temporary basis. It’s always a positive memory looking back because that’s how humans are wired, but my hunch is that that allure of Dubai diminishes rather quickly and your second visit there won’t be as interesting.
I’ve lived in a number of places around the world (including the UK, china, Germany, Jordan, Turkey, Lesotho, visited the UAE many times) and I’m currently in California, and I must say the Netherlands is the best thus far. I’d love to try Norway and Denmark at some point.
Cheers
Agreed with you. Entering my 7th year in the UAE. I always choose to travel outside the country if possible. There are some good aspects about UAE for sure. But everything seems temporary.
I have lived in both.
Dubai pros & cons
+easy to meet people & make friends
+business friendly, very fast paced & futuristic
+amazing lounges, cafes, restaurants
+really good healthcare services, no months waiting lists etc. easy to get an appointment, no need for referrals if you want to see a specialist etc.
-apartments almost all of them have moist, mold issues and the AC is very bad for your health by the time you leave Dubai you’ll end up with lung issues
-air pollution, also bad for your health and causes long term damage
-lack of nature
-public transport should be better
-besides marina, not very walkable city
-poor food quality in all supermarkets and prices are high
Australia pros &cons
+weather
+quality of food
+people are friendly/laid-back
+apartments are modern & good quality
-isolated
-if you’re European and have family in Europe timezone is tricky
I visited Dubai once and it was amazing! I loved your videos there because I could learn much more to use whenever I visit Dubai again. I want to visit Australia one day but it’s a bit more complicated to me. And I still want to visit other places like Greece, Turkey, Japan, South Korea… the world is huge but my bank account is not 😅
