Join me as I spend the night in one of the world's most iconic hotels in Dubai -Inside The Burj Al Arab which is laced with 24-carat gold standing tall at 321 metres as the world’s tallest all-suite hotel, the iconic Burj Al Arab redefines and hosts a modern take on Arabian luxury. Located on a private island, let's find out if it's worth the hype!
The Burj Al Arab is a five-star hotel, with the highest official ranking. While the hotel is sometimes erroneously described as "the world's only 'seven-star' hotel"
The hotel owns a fleet of Rolls-Royce Phantoms and you can arrive by helicopter landing on the helipad located on the 28th storey. (This video is NOT Sponsored by The Burj Al Arab

I feel like I don’t need to stay here in real life because I vicariously stayed in the hotel with you during this video. Thanks! You’ve just saved me £1500!
You’re welcome 😊
Agreed😊❤
I think these kind of hotels are for those who love art and luxury…me, I’d rather spend that much money on traveling to the remotest places of the world and experience adventure.
Cost less than I paid for the room in the Four Seasons in Maui Hawaii.
Screw that! I feel you, but just work towards your goals and you’ll make it there someday! I have complete faith you will, just work hard!

Very educational.
Go back there in 5 years time… I guarantee you… that building won’t be safe

@@BareBare711 was the spirit orb complementary? Or did he have to pay for it? Asking for a friend.
@Soda maybe selling their oil at 50 dollar’s a barrel would be a great start. But then again…
There is something so pure and wonderful about seeing the guy who spends a lot of time checking out the worst that Britain has to offer holiday wise suddenly shooting up in the world. A very well deserved stay. Also loved the way the tour was exactly the same style as you would do in the Holiday Inn, Travel Lodge or Pontins.
I would not go near Pontins or Butlins They are in some places where I would not Board a Dog
@@christinedavis5813 ok…?
Not gonna lie, driving up to the world’s only 7 star hotel in a Fiat Punto is the greatest power move i have ever seen.

Exactly. And at least he’s earned it, rather than just being handed it by the state.
ITs Not fcking seven Stars. The Hotel himself deniee that sht Story. There are No seven stars
This kia Picanto not fiat
At the end of the day it’s just a hotel and they want your money
I was actually expecting this to be closer to £5,000+. So seeing it was ‘only’ £1,500 I actually think that is pretty reasonable. For a once in a lifetime trip or a honeymoon, staying for one or two nights seems at least within reach.
im sure it used to be more
@@WalkWithMeTim It’s amazing what using Indian slaves can accomplish in Dubai. Truely world class monuments to humanity at it’s worst…
@@RecklessFablesmy thoughts exactly

@@Alienman1212 if thats what you truly cared about theres not many countries you can live in atm LOL
Dubai to me can be compared to a plastic flower.
Also, if a hotel has the gall to call itself anything higher than 5* (which, in global rating systems means nothing) I wouldn’t expect the following:
– A charge for snacks and soft drinks from the mini bar.
– No comp airport transfer
– being told ‘no’ when asking to look at the facilities.
– Seeing poolside loungers crammed together.
– Decor that hasn’t been updated much in 20 years
It’s popular to hate on Dubai these days. Sure ir is popular with the ghetto rich crowd but its quality is real.
@@user-rg9xd9mu5r that’s true since most of the crowd who goes to dubai from the UK is ghetto rich
Dubai all fake , no history, like hotels in London or Paris .
Anything “quality” was purchased fro the west. The Decor is utterly Gaudy.@@user-rg9xd9mu5r
Lmao😂
I’ve seen documentaries and quick presidential suite (or whatever they call their best suite) tours. But I never seen a tour of the Burj al Arab this in-depth. In lesser hotels, your suite could be considered a master suite. That pool area’s heavenly. It’s also sweet how you have a butler service for your room. Thanks for taking the time and everything to give us a first hand look into this exclusive experience.
TalialGhul, the butler-service and other perquisites are wonderful. The irony of this documentary is that the presenter bluffed his way through a lot of things, guessing how this works, and wondering what that was, when all that he had to do, literally, was to press one little button, and a butler would appear to explain everything and to make it simple and easy for him and then for the rest of us. Truly, luxury is often wasted on many people….even when it is right in front of them and all-inclusive service is available 24/7
@@brentshuffler1234 wow! With that being said, i petition he go back & do it again !! 😃
I had the pleasure of staying here for a while a number of years ago. Apart from some of the furnishings the rooms are still exactly the same. If you add up all the free goodies you get, Hermes toiletries, chocolates, a decent bottle of wine per night etc the actual cost is not too bad. The architecture is stunning and the service excellent. There used to be a massive fountain spray on the water area with the little water jets, (they are supposed to represent fish) which used to shoot up and then cascade down with minimum splash. The underground seafood restaurant was great, you reached it via a small pretend submarine, the only problem being as you tuck into your fish, one of its brothers is looking at you through the glass. If you go to the beach, a buggy will take you there and when you come out of the water you get drinks and lavender scented towels given to you. It’s nice to do it once.
You don’t get anything for free, it’s all included in the price.
@@TheDennys21 Of course, but it’s nice to not be nickled and dimed for everything.
would you do it again?
This actually sold me. Tacky furnishings aside, the service is what matters.
The food was mediocre and cold. Who needs all that gold and glitz? The TV didn’t work. The place was empty. You go there and support an Islamic state, knowing that women and children are oppressed, but they provide tons of alcohol, so you’re impressed. I’d like to know just how clean those furnishings really are. The phones should be clean, but maybe they have a nice clean sound, because older phones are often better functioning than new ones. Overall impression? I’d expect better accommodations in a mid range hotel. Between houses, I spent a month in a Red Roof Inn for less than $100 a night. I could have my pets with me, the service was warm and personable. A complimentary breakfast was provided in the dining area, the food was hot, surprisingly good, there was quite a variety and they served it for hours and hours. I also spent weeks at a Radisson hotel and it was lovely. It cost a little more, but still very reasonable. Some people think that the more they spend, the better the service, but it’s not necessarily so.
I remember you staying in the Plaza New York for £1418. This is £1,500. There is absolutely no comparison. This was spotless and impressive. The Plaza was dirty and outdated with few amenities.
Sounds about right, but NYC hotels are very expensive… the land and property costs are so damn high!
@@thepanel2935 they spent almost 2 billion dollars on that hotel lo l.
This hotel was built and is staffed by slaves
10 more Social Security checks and I’ll be able to stay here too for 10 days. Book it Danno!
The Plaza is over 100 years old, this one a not even 20 years old. The Plaza was very luxurious 100 years ago with amazing amenities you did not find in the best houses. Think how was a world in 1900 and now.
Thank-you for saving me time and money. I was unable to feel like I would get 1,500 worth of luxury from a stay here. I feel like I’ve stayed in other properties for 1/10 the amount and enjoyed similar features, amenities, etc. without all of the gold of course. Keep up the great work
Totally agree
Instead of spending 50k on a wedding you could save the money and spend 10k to stay a week in this room and use the money you saved to explore and travel.
Agreed. I think it’s overrated. Cool building though! The mark of true luxury is that when you pay that much, things usually aren’t nickel and dimed. That’s one of the differences between Spirit airlines and Emirates first class- no one expects to get on it and need to ask if each thing costs extra. The fact that he had to keep asking.. 😅. Another mark of high luxury is that nothing about it should give you any suspicion of low quality. Just like I wouldn’t buy a birkin bag and see inconsistent or flawed stitching, this kind of room shouldn’t have gold finishes on one side, and ratty, over worn, stained appliances in the other.
it appears a bit of a sham – they BUILT something that screams seven stars but then FILLED it with 3 star. For me Hands down the best service and luxury isnt always from the largest room. Stayed at the Taj in Mumbai. Easily as good.
Wow! Where?
“Would I stay here again? I can’t afford to!” 🤣 I laugh not because I can’t relate, but because I can relate all too well. Excellent work here.
thanks lol

Lived in Dubai for 19 years and still have a house there. Been in that hotel a few times, and yes, it is quite impressive. The world hotel rating system stops at five stars.
